Threadlift
A PDO face thread lift involves the insertion of small barbed sutures underneath the skin along key areas of the face and pulled tighter to combat sagging. PDO stands for Polydioxanone, a material used to make these threads. PDO face thread lift is also known as V face thread lift and Korean thread lift.
PDO threads are safe, naturally broken down over months, do not damage tissue, and are barely visible as it is made with a transparent material. When it comes to PDO threads, there are 3 different types available that server different purposes due to their different thickness and lengths.
Mono threads are single PDO filaments where the threads are smooth and made without barbs. This achieves maximum skin tightening when the threads are inserted in a mesh-like pattern from all directions.
Cog threads are similar to mono threads but have a barb that attaches to the underside of the skin to suspend tissue structure. This creates a lifting effect due to the added support structure to the skin.
Screw threads are used to plump facial volume over sunken areas. One or two (multi-screw) threads are intertwined with the inserting needle to augment the final lifting results.

HIFU
